Interested in Attending Peer Tutoring?

Spring 2023 Peer Tutoring schedule

Students wishing to attend Peer Tutoring may do so on any day a Peer Tutor is available for the subject in which they need assistance.  Peer Tutoring is not a social time, it is work time.  Students who choose to attend Peer Tutoring are expected to demonstrate exemplary behavior and a strong work ethic during their tutoring sessions. Students must arrive promptly at the end of the school day.

If students are not actively working on academic work or tutoring/being tutored, then they may be asked to leave the peer tutoring classroom.

Here's how it will work:

  1. Approved Peer Tutors sign up through sign-up genius. (Link emailed to tutors' school email address)
  2. Students (Tutees) will report to the Peer Tutoring Room after school by 2:20 pm for tutoring.  Based on tutor selection, all subjects should be covered by at least one tutor every day.
  3. Tutors will be sent a reminder email from Sign Up Genius to remind them of their tutoring days.
  4. If no tutors are available on a given day, an announcement will be made at the end of the school day.

Tutors and Tutees should complete the Peer Tutoring Check In Form each day of attendance.  The host teacher will have this form for you at Peer Tutoring.

Would you like to become a Peer Tutor?

Please fill out the Peer Tutor Application Form.  Please consider all of your other responsibilities (after school clubs, meetings, sports, etc.) before filling out your availability. Students will be counting on you if you sign up to be there! This form MUST be submitted by ALL TUTORS.

The Peer Tutor Application Form has closed, but if you are still interested in becoming a Peer Tutor, contact Ms. Parker at the email address below.
