The mission of Cox Mill High School
To graduate all students as empowered problem solvers, continual learners, and productive citizens.

Cox Mill High School has been open since Fall 2009. We opened with 900 students and grew to almost 1300 by 2013. We started the 2025-2026 school year with approximately 1,780 students.

The CMHS Spirit Rocks in front of the school may be used to display messages that are in good taste (birthday announcements, congratulations, etc.). Political statements or messages/signs that are vulgar, offensive, or potentially disruptive are prohibited. The school reserves the right to paint over anything deemed to be inappropriate. Violators of this policy will be served disciplinary consequences.
