STUDENTS, please be reminded that you must submit a new flex form at the start of each semester.
Juniors and Seniors may complete their online coursework at home or off campus with parent/guardian permission AND if it fits in the student’s schedule. Students may not be on campus for a CMHS class, leave, then come back on campus in the day for a later CMHS class. Students are 100% responsible for maintaining all coursework, managing transportation, knowing intervention and bell schedules and arriving on campus on time. Students requesting to be Off-Campus/Home for their course may NOT be at school during the selected period. Students must have internet access at home and viable transportation. Seniors only may have up to two true flex periods total during which they do not have a course associated with that flex. Carefully review the note regarding true flexing below.
FAQ
If I plan to "flex" or work at home for my course period, do I have to come on the 1st day or week of school for that block?
NO. If you have had a CCP course before, know how to navigate the program, have completed your FLEX form and turned it in, you DO NOT have to come at the start of the 2nd semester. Do not be on campus during this time period. Questions regarding flexing? You are responsible for knowing the bell schedules.
Is it too late to change to "flex" or work at home for my course period?
Students will have 2 weeks after the start of the semester to decide and submit a flex form. If it fits in your schedule (1st or 4th block, etc.), you may still submit a signed FLEX form to allow you to work off-campus. A NEW FLEX FORM IS NEEDED EVERY SEMESTER. Forms are available on the CCP site. You may email scanned PDF versions of the signed forms to your counselor if you have not turned it in yet. Students will have 2 weeks to decide and submit a flex form.
If I FLEX for my course, can I still come in to the building or the YES Center on certain days?
NO. Choosing to Flex your course means you are not allowed on campus during that time and will be consistent every day for the semester. If you are found on campus, disciplinary actions will result. This is for accurate attendance tracking and safety me

Students may opt to take their CCP course on campus in the YES Center or off campus if it fits in your schedule in 1st or 4th block.

Flexing is a PRIVILEGE and may be revoked at any time for disciplinary concerns, failure to meet academic requirements, not following flexing policies listed, etc. The loss of flexing privileges is made at the discretion of the principal. Any appeals regarding loss of flexing privileges must be addressed with the principal.
