Why AoIT?

The Academy of Information Technology (AOIT) is a four-year career academy affiliated with the NAF. Within a smaller learning cohort, students have core and academy classes together. Academy teachers share the cohort of students and work together to integrate technology into their curricula through developing interdisciplinary projects.

NAF is a non-profit organization established in 1989. The mission of NAF is to sustain a national network of career academies that supports the development of America's youth toward personal and professional success in high school, higher education, and throughout their careers. NAF Academies function as dynamic partnerships and collaborations between schools, teachers, administrators, business volunteers, and an active Advisory Board led by industry professionals.

 

 


Program Choice Information

Timeline for Application Process:

  • Thursday, October 15th - Program Choice Fair at The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center Gold Hall, along with Cabarrus County Schools' "Futures Fair" at 6 pm
  • Thursday, October 15th- Applications open in Scribbles
  • November 3rd- November 24th- Program Open Houses held at each Program Choice School
  • Sunday, December 14th- Applications close at midnight
