Mrs. Kristal Dellinger

Hi!  My name is Kristal Dellinger and I am happy to have joined the Student Support Services Team here at Cox Mill High School.  This is my 19th year in education, I spent the first five as a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher and the last thirteen as a Career and Technical Education Coordinator.  

The CTE Coordinator responsibilities incorporate the North Carolina Standard Course of Study, National Career Development Guidelines, the National Model for School Counseling Programs and Future-Ready Students For the 21st Century. Specific CTE Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Career Development
  • Preparatory Services
  • Transition Services
  • Partnerships
  • Professional Development

I also facilitate the Career and Technical Education Department which is comprised of 6 programs areas.  Those include Agriculture, Business and Marketing, Family and Consumer Sciences, Health Sciences, and the Trades.  In addition to the CTE Department, I also support the Academy of Infomation Technology (AoIT).
