Cox Mill High School has a thriving Fine and Performing Arts Department. We recognize that instruction in the arts incorporates content from all academic disciplines and develops critical thinking and problem solving skills, creativity, self-confidence, self-discipline, and motivation. Arts education prepares students for the 21^st century workforce and a life of community and civic engagement.
 

Students at Cox Mill have the opportunity to enroll in a wide range of arts courses including Band, Chorus, Dance, Visual Arts, Digital Photography, Painting, Ceramics, AP Art, Theatre, Technical Theatre, and Music Appreciation. Additionally students have the opportunity to participate in numerous extracurricular activities in the arts including clubs, theatre productions, and musical ensembles.
