New and Continuing CCP Students at Rowan Cabarrus Community College

Hello Charger families!

Upcoming Events:
For Parents and Families: Register for our CCP Parent Information Session on Thursday, January 22nd at 6:00pm via Zoom
For New CCP Students: Register for our CCP Application Help Sessions on Monday, January 26th in the Media Center

If you are new to CCP, the deadline to apply and select your courses is March 24. Before that deadline hits, you must complete the following:

  • Sign up for our CCP Application Help Sessions on Monday, January 26th to receive CCP information and application advising. During this event, we will help you:
    • Review the pathways available to you (but all students are encouraged to do the Associate of Arts College Transfer pathway)
    • Verify that you have a 2.8 unweighted GPA and are a rising Junior or Senior
    • Apply to Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) through College For North Carolina (CFNC)
    • Navigate to the Application Hub and start a Career + College Promise Application
    • Select your pathway (e.g. Associate of Arts); if you add a secondary CTE pathway or want to take a different College Transfer pathway, consult with your School Counselor
    • Sign the Student Agreement
    • If you have a special program that you are applying for, verify the requirements and complete any additional admissions steps
    • Fill out our Google Form with your selected pathway(s) and the classes that you would like to take from your pathway(s)
  • Turn in your CCP/NCVPS User Agreement to your School Counselor
  • Your School Counselor will submit the Counselor Approval Form and send your class selections to RCCC

If you are a returning CCP student, you will complete the following steps:
  • Address any issues that might prevent you from taking classes at RCCC (e.g.business hold, change of pathway, etc.)
  • Fill out our Google Form with your selected pathway(s) and the classes that you would like to take from your pathway(s) in the Summer and the Fall 
  • Turn in your CCP/NCVPS User Agreement to your School Counselor
  • Your School Counselor will submit the Counselor Approval Form and send your class selections to RCCC
