Mission

Together we will serve, support, and advocate for our students. We will strive to empower them with the skills necessary to be successful in their endeavors.

Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebbles that cause you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain.

Programs

Students with IEPs (identified as eligible for and needing EC services and have an Individualized Educational Program (IEP) in place and are in need of extra supports to be successful in their regular classes) may be served through:

*Resource Program - students may be provided services in a co-taught math and/or English class and/or during intervention; this is less restrictive because students are still with their non-disabled peers.

*Curriculum Assistance, CA, - an elective class in which students are taught study skills and provided the support to practice and generalize those skills with an EC teacher; more restrictive because students are not with their non-disabled peers during this one period; meant for students needing substantial support

*Occupational Course of Study, OCS, is an alternate path to graduation for Exceptional Children who meet the criteria for the program. Parent and student must agree to the alternate path and the student has significant adaptive and academic deficits; more restrictive than CA because students are not with their non-disabled peers for up to 4 periods per day. Please contact Jacob Moroff for further information.
