CCP New Applicant

NEW CCP STUDENTS

(First-Time Applicants)

These steps are designed to help new CCP students understand how to apply for CCP & register for classes. 

Please complete all 6 steps of the application process so that you may be registered for classes.

Failure to complete all 6 steps wil result in your inability to take CCP courses.


 

Step 1: Review CCP Eligibility

  • Must be a rising 11th or 12th grader

  • Must have a minimum 2.8 unweighted GPA

  • Review the CCP Presentation

 

Step 2: Complete the RCCC CCP Application

 

Step 3: Submit Required Documentation

 

Step 4: Submit CCP Course Requests

  • Complete the CMHS CCP Course Request Form (Due March 24th)

  • Complete Google Registration form for 26-27 course selections (Request CCP Placeholders Fall/Spring)

  • List requested CCP courses/placeholders on CCP Course Request Form

  • Be sure to also select alternate CCP courses on the CMHS CCP Request Form

 

Step 5: Complete Individual Advisement

  • Counselors will review CCP requests during individual advisement

    • Individual advisement is from January 29th-March 25th (Counselors will meet students in 2nd period classes on the their teachers scheduled day)

  • Schedule adjustments will be finalized at this time

Students must choose a pathway as part of the RCCC application process.  

  • CMHS advises ALL students to select the CCP Associate of ARTS pathway.  If a student chooses a different pathway, student MUST consult counselor 1st. 

  • Students may choose 1 College Transfer pathway and 1 CTE pathway.

  • Students may only take courses within the specified pathway/pathways.
