NEW CCP STUDENTS

(First-Time Applicants)

These steps are designed to help new CCP students understand how to apply for CCP & register for classes. 

Please complete all 5 steps of the application process so that you may be registered for classes.

Failure to complete all 5 steps wil result in your inability to take CCP courses.

CCP Eligibility & Requirements

To participate in CCP, students must:

• Be in 11th or 12th grade
• Have a 2.8+ unweighted GPA
• Attend a CCP Information Meeting during the semester before starting CCP classes
• Communicate your interest in CCP during:
  • Spring Individual Advising with your School Counselor, or
  • The Fall Schedule Change Window

Career and College Promise (CCP) Application Steps for NEW CCP Student

Step 1: Review CMHS CCP Website for program information and eligibility requirements. 

• Must be a rising 11th or 12th grader

• Must have a minimum 2.8 unweighted GPA

• Review the CCP Presentation

Step 2: Complete the CMHS CCP User Agreement

• User agreement can be picked up from the front office, or click link to print it. 

• Return the completed and signed CCP User Agreement to school counselor

Step 3: Complete the RCCC CCP Application for the Associate of Arts Transfer Pathway

• Any pathway other than the Associate of Arts must be approved by your school counselor.  Approval must be confirmed prior to submitting application.

Step 4: Complete the RCCC CCP Student Agreement

Step 5: Submit the CCP Course Requests Form.

• The CCP Course Request Form lets your School Counselor know which CCP course(s) you plan to take
